Daniel Hudson will be back in Dodger blue in 2023. On Thursday, it was announced that the Dodgers had exercised the injured reliever’s $6.5 million option for next season.
Hudson was one of the team’s top relievers this season, before suffering a fluke torn ACL that ended his season back in June.
Prior to the injury, Hudson was 2-3 with a 2.22 ERA and 30 strikeouts over 24.1 innings pitched in his second tour of duty with the LA ballclub.
The 13-year vet was a member of the 2019 World Series champion Washington Nationals, and will look to help the Dodgers get back there next season.
